Zlatan Srzic

Principal Conductor (1999-2001)

Zlatan Srzic graduated conducting at the "Hochschule fur Musik und darstellende Kunst" in Graz (Austria) and violin at the "Academy of the Music" in Zagreb (Croatia). Since 1978 he is the music director of "Zagreb chamber orchestra, Gaudeamus". With that orchestra he won the highest national artistic awards.
Also worked as a guest conductor of "Zagreb Philharmonic" and "Zagreb Radio TV Simphony Orchestra". Recently a principal conductor of the "Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra" from Osaka (Japan). He has conducted in Italy, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, France, Switzerland and Spain, as well as on the festivals in Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, Zagreb and Graz, and was recording for Croatia Records and Suzy CBS.
Winner of the "J.F.Perrenoud" award for conductors at the "Wienna International Music Competition", (Austria), 1994. Visiting professor of conducting at the "Osaka Kyoiku University".
